Description

Launched in 2022, ZENITH marks SolarMobil’s fifth ambitious project, showcasing the team’s continued innovation in solar electric mobility. The car proudly participated in two major national competitions — SEVC and ESVC, representing Manipal Institute of Technology on a prestigious platform.

ZENITH features a sleek bullet-shaped body crafted from carbon fiber and 3D glass hybrid composites, supported by a tubular chassis and a double wishbone suspension system for superior structural integrity and performance. The chassis and bodywork were entirely manufactured by the team, involving advanced fabrication methods such as CNC cutting, laser cutting, and VMC machining to achieve precision and aerodynamic efficiency.

In a step toward environmental sustainability, ZENITH utilizes a recycled battery pack, extending its lifespan and reducing hazardous waste from heavy metal components — reinforcing SolarMobil’s commitment to green innovation and responsible engineering.
