2011
Foundation
SolarMobil established at MIT, Manipal. Initial team formation and planning.
2011
FREYR
First prototype, a single-seater adventure class vehicle, completed.
2015
SERVe
Launched India's first passenger solar electric vehicle prototype. Won QuEST Ingenium.
2016
SM S-1
Developed India's first four-seater family solar passenger car.
2018
SM S-2
Launched a two-seater cruiser class car aimed at the Sasol Solar Challenge South Africa.
2023
ZENITH
Competed in ESVC 2023 with a new bullet-design car featuring composite materials.
2024
HELIARK
Our latest generation vehicle, representing the pinnacle of our engineering efforts at the ESVC 3000.
2027
Future Goals
Currently developing our 7th generation vehicle for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2027.
