Our Mission: The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2027

We are Team SolarMobil, a passionate group of engineering students from Manipal, embarking on our most ambitious project yet: to design, build, and race our 7th-generation car, 007, at the prestigious Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (BWSC) in 2027.

The BWSC is the world's toughest solar endurance race, a 3,000+ kilometer journey across the Australian outback that pushes the limits of technology and sustainable engineering. Our goal is not just to compete, but to showcase India's potential in green technology on a global stage.

Why We Need Your Support

Building a new, world-class solar car from the ground up is a massive technical and financial undertaking. While we dedicate countless hours to the design, research, and fabrication of 'Project 007', the specialized components, advanced solar cells, and lightweight materials required are expensive.
