Description

Heliark represents SolarMobil’s sixth and most advanced solar vehicle project yet—pushing the boundaries of aerodynamic design and sustainable engineering. Built with a sleek tadpole configuration and achieving an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.16, Heliark embodies the team’s decade-long evolution in the field of solar mobility. The car features flexible monocrystalline solar panels developed by Tata Power Solar, ensuring maximum energy efficiency while maintaining a lightweight, futuristic aesthetic tailored for competitive solar racing.

Launched with the goal of redefining solar electric vehicle performance in India, Heliark made a remarkable mark at the Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC) 2025. The team clinched 3rd place overall, along with 1st place finishes in Acceleration, Design, and Aesthetics & Ergonomics, and 2nd place in Business Plan, Cost Report, and Innovation. These accolades underscore SolarMobil’s ability to integrate engineering precision with creative design thinking, making Heliark a standout among India’s top solar vehicle prototypes.
